Well, the weekend started off good enough. Started it early with an awesome night out with Richelle, Sarah, Marrissa and Sam from GE. We all went bowling and afterwards headed to applebees for some food as I was F'ing starving! Good times had by all, and easily the highlight of my summer so far. :) Follow that up on friday with only 1 call down in New Philly, OH. I was done and back at 10:30 AM and had the rest of the day to just relax, it was great! Then that evening my dad took me to go pick up my truck from the shop...
Of course, on the way there, he had to start lecturing me about finding new jobs and blah blah blah, oh and he brought up the lack of girlfriend thing too, ugh, thanks for reminding me dad! Ugh, parents can be annoying sometimes. Anyway, got my truck and went back home and just continued to relax and play some Halo 3 beta into the early morning hours with Scott and Paul.
Saturday comes around, didn't have to work until 2 at the bird so I just relaxed during the morning. Got ready for work at noon and left for work early to get food and stuff. Get to work and, oh boy, carts from 3 - 5 and 8 - 10, oh and Robb's coordinating, ugh. Robb's a good guy, but hes not fun to work with. So yea, I do my first 2 hours of carts, and break see that theres no one scheduled on carts from 6 - 8. I offered to do them because im an idiot and also just to make sure that they are kept up with since I'll be the last one to have them that day. Finally 10 comes around and im aching all over because I'm an idiot and I shouldn't do so many carts :P Anyway, went home and played some more halo 3 beta before bed.
Sunday comes and again, work at 2, blah. So the same as saturday morning, blah blah blah. Get to work at 2 and only 3 hours of carts. I was pretty exhausted from saturday as it was so I was pretty much in a state of "Meh" all day sunday. Anyway, 8 rolls around and outside for carts I go.... FUCK!! Carts everywhere! That piece of shit Darren, who had them before me, didnt do shit. AUGH!!! so mad! So yea, I had a lobby with barely any carts in it, and a parking lot with all the cart corrals full plus a bunch of stray carts to do, ugh.
Thankfully today wasnt too bad, I had a full day but it wasn't bad. I think it helps that I'm in a car listening to music all day. So soothing :) Oh, and I turned in a note to Ron's office saying I can only work at the bird on sundays for now :P I'm about done with that place. Honestly, the only real reason I'm still there is my friends there. I think thats it for now. Peace out folks. |
